For the last 4 weeks I have got simplified sleep data from my charge 2. I have followed all the instructions in the forums for wrist placement strap tightness etc. I’ve reset the watch and I’ve unpaired it/repaired it with no solution. Anyone anymore ideas? Seriously close to calling it a day with Fitbit as this is my second (first the screen split just out of warranty). Also out of warranty now.

Let me help you with your simplified sleep data and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You may not get sleep data for the following reasons:
I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
