Charge 2 sudden decrease of steps from 10.192 down to 7.550

My Charge 2 was showhing approx. 8.750 steps and I wanted to get ti up to 10.000 steps - so I took a run in my neighbourhood until I felt the buzz on my arm (the display showed the rocket) and the counter showed 10.192 steps. When I returned to home I synced it with my iPhone and for a tiny moment it also showed the 10.192 steps and a cheer - but suddenly it went down to 7.550 steps. Why did that happen?

Let me help you with your missing steps. Do you have any app linked to your account? Have you manually logged any activities? Try restarting your device and see how it behaves.
