Why can I buy a $70 no name device that tracks swimming yet this $150 device does not? Seems odd!

@Newtotrackers A warm welcome to our Community! The Charge 2 has an altimeter on its back that may allow water to enter the device. This could damage the tracker and doesn't allow it to be swim proof. If you are interested in this feature you can check the Flex 2, Ionic and Versa as these are now able to be worn inside a pool.
Let me know how it goes!

So why can't it be put into a waterproof pouch like the ones used for phones when swimming? What exactly is the problem? That the Charge 2 is not waterproof or that the Charge 2 was not designed to track the activity of swimming? Clarify please and thanks!
