Hello @Murcdam, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for your post. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

Jumping in here to add that my Fitbit Charge 2 will NEVER auto-sync with my phone (running Android 8.1) and I struggle to get it to manually sync, which usually involves opening and closing the App and turning Bluetooth off and on a dozen or more times, rebooting my phone, removing my Charge 2 from my wrist, pls cling it in the charger cradle, taking it out of the charger cradle - rinse and repeat. At this point I have tried all variants and workarounds to get my fitness tracker device to reliably sync with my phone, other than the “scorched earth” solution of tossing it and buying a competitor product.
This is all too much effort for a device that is supposed to communicate automatically with my phone on a regular basis, and the vast number of messages and threads on this forum citing sync issues across the range of devices suggests to me a fundamental flaw in the architecture of Fitbit’s firmware and hardware, something that it seems they are unwilling to acknowledge or address, preferring instead to blame users for having incompatible phones. Incompatible how? A phone needs WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 or later, and to be able to run the App, which is pretty much every smartphone that ever existed since 2010 so I fail to see how these continual wide-ranging sync issues across multiple platforms and multiple devices can be anything other than a result of Fitbit‘s flawed implementation of the technology.
If I’m going to be “jumping through ten hoops a day” that is something that I want my Fitbit to RECORD, not something I must do to get my Fitbit to WORK.

I agree. My charge 2 constantly fails to synch either automatically or manually. Ive done all the stuff you have said as well. At the moment it hasn't synced for 2 days. I've tried it all nothing works
