Charge 2 time one hour behind

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have seen many other posts about this but none of the solutions work.

The Charge 2 is permanently one hour behind the correct time.

I have tried all troubleshooting recommendations on the other forums but none seem to work.

The time zone and time are set automatically on the mobile device and also within the fitbit app.

I have tried the app settings both with automatic and manual time and time zone but in either case after I sync the fitbit, the time remains one hour behind, and interestingly, the app shows that the sync happened one hour ago (reflecting I guess the time that it is taking from the device being one hour behind the actual time).

I have tried rebooting, logging out, re installing the app, installing the app on both android and apple devices but the same happens in every case.

I now have no hair left! Can anyone help?

@kevinJharding Welcome! It's great to see you around!

I will gladly assist you with your Charge 2 time and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which timezone are you using? Try selecting a complete different one, save and sync then select the correct one again and save and sync. If the issue persist then select another timezone that has the correct time.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi thanks for your message.

The problem seems to be more complex - I set the location on the app to Aukland and the time zone to New Zealand, and set the app to NOT automatically set the time and zone.

When I sync the fitbit the time on the device stays at Europe time -1 as it was before.

When I go back into advanced settings the time zone has reverted to London and the location to France (which is where I am located).

Any more guidance on this?  Really frustrated that the watch is still an hour slow and nothing seems to affect it!!!
