Charge 2 won’t pair

Good morning,

I am the owner of Fitbit Charge 2. I have recently started to expercience issues with data synchronization between the watch and my Samsung J6+ I see that the device should be supported by Fitbit. I tried to reset bluetooth, mobile,log out,reinstall app,remove the device from app. Now I can’t even pair the watch back with fitbit app. It has been trying to pair for several minutes and then it failed. Could you please help? It starts to be annoying as there are still some issues.

What kind of phone?

I have the same issue since the last Samsung update I can't pair my phone and Fitbit so am not receiving calls or texts, I have tried everything but nothing works

I also have Samsung now prior had an LG where it did sync n I was able to get notifications but not on SS.Powered by Cricket Wireless

Other customer stated he removed Fitbit from Strava site but perhaps just removing Fitbit from your apps n reestablish or open with new info may work. I've not done that but when I have some down time I'll try it.Powered by Cricket Wireless

It's a Samsung. 8. I really like it. But bought the Fitbit to sync with all of Fitbit site features

So sorry. It's a bummer. Wonder if that's my issue rather than the Fitbit. If it's true, it's something they must work out together.

Samsung just finished software upgrade. Maybe Samsung and Fitbit need to sync their software!

I just checked the sync between phone and Fitbit, it's working again at this moment. Hopefully, your issue is on it's  way to being resolved, too.

Any news on this issue? Looking for a new one at the moment.  Of the issue isn't solved it will not be a fitbit anymore

I posted a few weeks ago. Since then I have been using an Alta with my Samsung phone. It has worked perfectly. This morning I tried my Charge 2 again and found that it is still not synching. 

 

I am really disappointed at the lack of communication from Fitbit. I find it hard to see me getting another product from them.

I have done this several times and still won’t pair. I would like to get it paired so it can be useful.
