Charge 2 won't set up "com.fitbit.HTTP error 500"

Trying to connect my Fitbit the the app again and it’s coming up saying ‘com.fitbit.HTTP error 500’ what do I do?!

Thank you for this advice, I had same problem and your tip resolved it!! I had to create new account as I was unable to link a Charge 2 to a child's account. So I deleted that first account but hadn't removed the device first. All sorted now, thank you!!

Dear team, but what about if we are not able to recover the old account. I have deleted the account and before deletion i have removed the charge 2 from that but still i m not able to pair my charge 2 with new account the getting this error. Its been more than one month i m not able to pair the device. And contacted the fitbit team via email but they are just asking more detials and didn’t provided any solution yet
