Has something happened? Fitbit was sync'ing regularly and then suddenly, beginning January 1......Nothing!
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity
I have endless issues with syncing. It's now 4th Jan, haven't synced since 29 Dec. Tried everything but deleting the tracker as it takes 3 days to get it paired again after trying multiple times with much frustration. Last time I contacted customer service I got a short snappy response advising my phone is not compatible. I threw the tracker into my drawer where it languished for weeks until I got over my pout. My answer is; buy a compatible phone or keep on trying to sync cos for no reason it suddenly will 😏😏😏
Same here. Has not synced since December 14th. Tried everything from uninstalling/re-installing app, disconnecting and reconnecting to bluetooth, tried forcing a sync on the app with my laptop and it just says "tracker not found". Very frustrating. Happens a lot. Might be time to say bye bye to Fitbit...
Yes mine to, nothing since 28th December all data lost, this is the second time this has happened not a happy bunny
I have had the same problem since September last year. My fitbit was syncing regularly and all of a sudden it doesn't sync anymore. I have not changed my phone and it was syncing before. Has anyone found out why this has happened? I've tried everything unpairing, reinstalling the app etc. The app constantly says its under maintenance and has done since November, anyone else experiencing this problem?

The usual things to try when you get syncing issues are:
I thought it was just me, haven't been able to sync since Dec 18th, uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, restarted the fitbit, tried to re-connect the phone to the fitbit, and still no luck. What is going on??

Syncing issues do happen from time to time and it's been an issue since I got my first fitbit over 5 years ago. I don't believe there is a system wide issue at the moment.
@lcliff15 a further complication for you is that fitbits have limited memory to hold data between syncs. They can store between 5 and 7 days of detailed data (depending on the model) before they start holding data at a daily summary level. So, when you get yours working again the data may look a little strange.

when I try to sync, it tells me a sync is scheduled and will begin shortly. it never does
tried all of the above, except customer support. that will be next - so sick of the issues with this thing
when I try to sync using the windows app on my laptop, it just says "tracker not found" and does not sync, or it says another device is connected to the fitbit...so I imagine it can only mean my phone, so I disconnect it using the bluetooth settings and it still won't "find tracker".
Just a wee query; how many "syncing issues" are we expected to accept as normal? Frustration aside, just the sheer amount of time trying the remedies over & over again before syncing resumes is unacceptable in my view.
Thanks SteveH,
I have tried most of those options without success.
I will definitely try the restart fitbit option. Thanks for the links.
Will let you know how I get on.
Best AnswerI did a "Chat" with Belle at Tech Support. She directed me to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/fitbit/9wzdncrfj1xx?activetab=pivot:overviewtab where I
(1) downloaded the app
(2) Installed the app
(3) Launched the app
And VIOLA! Fitbit began to sync!!!!
