Charge 2 won't sync

The battery died the other night; I recharged; device shows it's 100% charged; counting steps; date is correct; time is wrong (hours and minutes).  Time zone is correct on account.  I've restarted several times, nothing works.  Advice? TIA.

@mopapa, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with the time on your Charge 2. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Once it syncs the time should get updated.

Let me know how it goes.

try turn off bluetooth, then turn it back on and sync, or restart your device, or log your account out on your fitbit app, or reset your fitbit.

i hope this has helped you.

Thank you.  I was trying to sync it with my laptop and it just wouldn't work.  I didn't even think about trying with the phone.  Did that and now it's got the correct time.  Thank you!
