Charge 3 Auto recognized exercise

The charge 3 app lists all the auto recognized exercises and this list includes aerobic exercise. I've been told not to rely on the tracker recognizing when I do exercise and instead I should select the exercise I want to do on the tracker so it logs it. The thing is, and I've tried this lots of times, the tracker device doesn't have give me the aerobic option to tap, should it be on there is its on the app? I would really like to get this sorted because lots of my workouts aren't recording automatically, it's really annoying and I want to know if it's a fault or not. Thanks

Hello @Sandydm. It's great to see you around. @JohnnyRow I'm glad to see you around and thanks for your input.

@Sandydm I'm sorry for any inconvenience. Adding to what @JohnnyRow mentioned, I also invite you to visit the Charge 3 manual for more information about tracking your activities. You can get other tips on page 30 but I think the correct link that contains more information about how you can change and reorder the exercises on your Fitbit device is: How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?

If your exercise isn’t included in your Charge 3, you can choose "Workout" but if this option doesn't appear on your Charge 3, please make sure to add it as a favorite exercise to the shortcuts list on your device by following the instructions provided in that link

Hope this helps.

"Workout" in the list is essentially the same as aerobic exercise".

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi,

There isn't a work out option though, there is run, walk, weights, bike,
swim, treadmill, can I pick any of those?

Though only 6 options show on your wrist, you can choose these 6 from about 20 options.  To see these options and how to get them on your tracker,

Up until very recently, there was a “weights” option for exercise. It seems to have disappeared now... is there a way to add it back?

Hello @jhk515. Welcome to the community forums!

Thank you for the information. Are you referring to the Fitbit App or on your Fitbit device itself? In the meantime, please check:

I look forward to your response.
