Charge 3 Issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Have had a Charge 3 for about 2 months and have already had more issues with it than the entire time I used my Charge 2. What is Fitbit doing to address the ongoing issues we all seem to be having. Definitely wouldn't recommend that anyone purchase a Charge 3.

Nothing like spending money for what should be a good product only to throw away. I’ve been without a smart watch for 65 years and at 66. It still is a defective product but they will not do anything about it.

So sorry for your experience.  I have zero faith in the product or their customer service. A plain old pedometer will be much more accurate and inexpensive.

That right there is a deal killer for me. How can you not care about the product you’re putting out there?! That’s your reputation and livelihood!!!

It shouldn’t be a problem syncing. There was a recent update to the iso Apple iPhone which caused many to have problems. Article said to delete the app and then reinstall. There is no charge for the app itself. The sync should fix and it won’t lose info if you purchased upgrades within the app. I haven’t used my charge 3 for about a week. Maybe I’ll do what they suggested.

I’ve reinstalled the app already. No luck.

I was hoping it would work. Try writing to their Twitter. They do respond. If you have it less than a year, perhaps you can exchange it.

I agree about the rubber Fitbit bands. I bought a nylon band with velcro closure on Amazon for about $10. It's very comfortable.

They need to acknowledge the Charge 3 was a failure and make it right with
their customers so it doesn't drive them to go to another brand. Not good
customer service.

I've had problems with my Charge 3 also. And it isn't a year old. It won't sync with iPhone 7 Bluetooth. Apple said diagnostics on its end show the phone is fine - they are wonderful and patient people. So I then contacted Fitbit. The first agent ran a quick test despite my telling him that he had just duplicated what I had done. And he said the tracker should be fine. I knew it wouldn't be, and a few minutes later it wasn't. So I called back and the second person I got on the phone was patient and thorough and she told me that my problem wasn't unqiue and that Fibtbit is working on a fix for the Charge 3. I hope it can resolve the issue quickly. It's maddening.

Thanks for your response. Mine is not yet a year old. So I am hoping for a
fix and soon. Otherwise I might switch to an Apple watch.

Haven't bought an Apple watch yet. So haven't started researching yet.
Waiting to see if Fitbit comes through with a fix soon. The Charge 3 has
been a disappointment.

Try logging out on your app and log back in. That worked for me.

My fitbit charge 3 appears to have died after only 6 months of use.
I tried everything to make it sync yesterday to no avail
While I was asleep it went blank and I can't get it to work again even
after charging it for hours

Such a defective item should be withdrawn from the market
How does Fitbit get away with ripping customers off?

Now it looks like they will make more money again as there are selling out
to Google!!
Meanwhile the customers have wasted their hard earned money

My Charge 3 didn't last a year either. And I have tried everything to try to make it work. I was even on the phone with Apple to make sure that the problem wasn't the Bluetooth. It wasn't, it isn't.  It's the Fitbit Charge 3, a defective product.
