Have had a Charge 3 for about 2 months and have already had more issues with it than the entire time I used my Charge 2. What is Fitbit doing to address the ongoing issues we all seem to be having. Definitely wouldn't recommend that anyone purchase a Charge 3.

I didnt have the send it back the first replacement, for the second replacement they insisted I send it back.

I don’t understand what it will take for them to see the problem and upgrade down grade or replace with a better watch -SMH

I was in the same boat but kept the receipt - they want to sell me another type of Fitbit at 50% off I said no I’ll pay the difference not buying another watch bc they can’t get it right

My fitbit's face also went bIack. I just plugged it in and held down the button as you said and it worked.
It went black also about 2 months ago then after a couple of days it statted working again.
Please explain why this keeps happening.
I returned the first one I bought due to the same issue and they gave me a new one now the same thing is happening.
Is the a glitch only with the charge 3's?
I would also like to know why under the "Exercise" category, there is no option for walking. There is running, treadmill, weights, swimming, interval training but nothing for walking?? I find this very odd. I do a lot of walking outside as my exercise but then cant set time or goal etc.

This has happened to me 3x’s and if you see my complaints and what others have posted your not alone- it’s the Charge 3 - fit bits solution is to replace with another instead of solving the issue

Eighteen months ago, I bought the Alta HR, and it served my purposes. It lasted 14 months. It started having trouble syncing, and then one morning it would not turn on, nor would it charge. I was excited to get the Charge 3. It lasted three months, then it developed the white line problems. I decided to work around it, since the data appeared on my phone. But then I could not always swipe the screen, and strange data showed up periodically on the Charge 3 that was not on the phone. It was never wet, and I reset the tracker multiple times. Like other trackers, it underestimated high pulse rates and overestimated low pulse rates, but it was good for the price. I was going to buy one of the newer models, but after reading about their problems as well, I decided to pay a couple hundred dollars more and get a product from another major manufacturer, which so far provides the same functionality as the Charge 3, and has other features that I can use.

Same problem. After the last iOS update, the phone and all features are not working. When I try a hard restart as described. No happy face. Tried again, left it on and less than an hour later, battery power went down to 10% and then died. My sons bought it for me less than a month ago and within an hour, it again dies. Amazon won’t exchange and told me to contact you directly. After reading the first few reviews and it confirmed that just about all who responded are having the same issue. No way is this useable while swimming as advertised. That is when I realized this is a piece of junk. Your recommendation for a fix with all who had the same issue, tried the same fix recommended and it is dead. No smiley or any sign that this piece of junk which leaves me with no watch, Amazon wouldn’t even give me an exchange. Any other suggestions? Even a simple walk does not register. Shows I climbed steps but there are no steps where I live. I had such high hopes this watch would register when swimming, walking, sitting and doing nothing. I am disabled and just had back surgery and my spine surgeon actually suggested I get this one to give accurate information as I am in the process of relearning to walk and measure improvement. In less than a month after leaving rehab my sons surprised me and bought me the watch. Both my sons have apple watches. While they are way more expensive IT WORKS! Since it was a gift, I do not have a receipt. Customer service said they could not look at my sons info to find the purchase because of privacy issues. Then why did she ask me my sons and daughter in laws email address, home addresses. She located the purchase but couldn’t exchange it for me because I did not physically have a receipt because it was a gift. Will you be able to assist? Any other things to test to work around the iOS issue since everyone I read have written with the same negative issue I am having. Can you help me? Fran G Ferrara. fgsfjtjc@gmail.com. 609-915-9015. Totally disgusted with this Charge 3. I also had the Charge 2 for about 2 years, Never a problem. Now after Fitbit REPLACED my Charge 3 in October 2019, (not the first time they had to replace it!) yesterday afternoon it just died. told me it needed to be charged, even though the day before it was on 78% then my app wiped all the old info out, and said it couldn't locate the device! (Yes Bluetooth was on!) Tried to charge it, reset it, long reset etc and all the crap they tell you to do, but nope, just a blank Fitbit screen on the watch & empty App.

This has occurred several times for me under warranty exchanges it 4xs already - I agree they only offer to upgrade but still at 100$ plus I don’t agree I already paid 120$ for a defective watch I think we should only pay the difference - it’s frustrating - worst product purchased with no proper customer service resolution

I know...so sick of it. And it of course it happened when I most need it to work. I have Lyme & a line in for IV meds so everything is being checked. Now I have nothing to check heart rate etc.... Will NEVER buy their products again....
