Charge 3 Issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Have had a Charge 3 for about 2 months and have already had more issues with it than the entire time I used my Charge 2. What is Fitbit doing to address the ongoing issues we all seem to be having. Definitely wouldn't recommend that anyone purchase a Charge 3.

I'm returning my Charge 3, which they say they will replace.  How come they're replacing yours with a Charge 2?

They're sending me a new one - just hope it works.

They didn't replace mine with a Charge 2. I bought my Charge 2 online through Amazon.

My partner is having the same issues. All fitbit has said is either our phones are not compatible (works fine with charge 2, versa and ace). And that they are aware of issues and looking to resolve ASAP. Looking at this thread it's been going on for a good 8 months and the issue is still not resolved

I experienced a screen failure, with both horizontal and vertical lines of pixel failures on my first Charge 3 and it was replaced quite quickly. I was very pleased with the handling.  Two months later and the replacement failed with constant screen changing (random) vibrations and such.  This time I was told I’d have to send the failed unit back to get a replacement,  they provided a prepaid mailing label.  I dropped the package on August 30th at the post office, and it still has not reached them 16 days later.  I didn’t realize they were going to walk it from Florida to California!

at this rate it will be three weeks without the device before they receive it, I was told 5 days after it’s received before the replacement is sent, and I’m guessing 2 to 3 weeks shipping back to me so almost 2 months!

i guess the new strategy is to run out the warranty! Simply unacceptable

I purchased my very first  FitBit, a Charge 3 in June.  It seemed to work well for a few weeks, then things went array.  The syncing was the first to go...In August, I walked a 5K walk race with FitBit running. At the finish line (which is 3.1 miles), it read I clocked 2.96 miles!!!  This is after charging the watch the night before.  Today, it synced MapMyWalk, but the screen on my mobile phone doesn't even open up to the tracking information.  This is after I synced it twice. I tried to swipe the watch face to set tracking a walking for steps, the watch does not swipe.  I paid $149 + tax for a watch that is supposed to be on the top list of trackers,  only to use it as a regular watch.  Very disappointing.

I understand your frustrations - unfortunately the only solution Fitbit has to keep replacing it up to a year bc it’s under manufacturing warranty it’s terrible

I have had numerous issues with my charge 3 with the screen going black. I have followed all of the instructions and it would come back up. Now the screen is very pixelated and I can't see anything on it now. Can you tell me who to contact for a replacement?

If it’s under a year - it’s covered under manufactured warranty

I am waiting on device number 3 now - of course Fitbit ships the slowest possible method every and requires you to send them the device back before they send the replacement.

Today is officially FOUR WEEKS since the replacement process started and as of now the return is due to be delivered Wednesday of next week so nearly FIVE WEEKS, that's one way to run out the warranty clock
