Charge 3 Not Syncing

My Charge 3 won't sync anymore - have tried re-booting it and pressing on the side for 8 seconds as suggested, but nothing works.  Also turning bluetooth on and off.  Next step is to throw it out of an upstairs window as it's so frustrating lol.   If I delete the app and re-start it again will I lose all my data, or are there any other suggestions?  Thanks.

Mine stopped syncing after a software update on my iPhone - it won't connect via bluetooth any more. Fortunately, it still syncs with my iPad, which I haven't updated. I don't think deleting and reinstalling the app will delete all your data - just the steps you have accrued since your last sync. You could also try deleting and reinstalling you Charge 3.

Thanks for your advice. My iPhone did have an update last weekend - the Fitbit did work for a short while after that, then stopped. Will try deleting and re-installing the Charge 3.

Mine started doing this last week. It started by losing half an hour every night and stopped recording my sleeping info. I had to reboot it to correct the time every morning. Now I can't get it to sync at all, (last sync was the 16th) and it doesn't even function as a watch anymore. I miss my old Fitbit.

The good news is that I finally managed to get mine syncing again! I clicked on 'Forget my Device' on Bluetooth and then set it up again. It still didn't work, so on my Fitbit I went to Settings / Options and clicked on Reboot (you don't lose data). It then synced straight away. Good luck, hope it works for you all!

I use iPad and iPhone apps, both keep disconnecting the Charge3 from Bluetooth, why?

Having the same problem. My last sync was on the 13th. I’ve restarted while charging, rebooted from the device, restarted my phone, reinstalled the app. Nothing. My phone says it can’t connect to the device via Bluetooth but the app is still able to tell me what battery percentage I have.

My charge 3 stopped syncing on 16th May. Tried rebooting, switching phone on and off and Bluetooth as well but no luck. This happened last week as well as didnt sync fod 3 days then synced on 16th. So sick of it thinking of throwing it out of the window

I’m having the same problem, and have also tried all the things you mentioned, except the last one. Where is”Reboot” in Settings? I’m not seeing it. (Might be blinded by my frustration...🙃

I got it to behave.  I forgot the Charge 3 in Bluetooth, reopened my Fitbit app and it immediately asked to pair my phone and the Charge 3. Go figure. Ah, sweet success. Thanks folks.

If you find settings (under weather), click on it then scroll down to 'About'. Click on that then scroll down to 'Reboot device'. Hope it works!

I feel your pain.  I had to do the Bluetooth bit first, then reboot before it would work.
