Charge 3 Not Syncing

My Charge 3 won't sync anymore - have tried re-booting it and pressing on the side for 8 seconds as suggested, but nothing works.  Also turning bluetooth on and off.  Next step is to throw it out of an upstairs window as it's so frustrating lol.   If I delete the app and re-start it again will I lose all my data, or are there any other suggestions?  Thanks.

Mine stopped syncing at 10:13 am yesterday, I've tried everything!!

Go to About in Settings, it will ask you to reboot, you can tap on a tick or an x.  Good luck, it didn't work on mine.

Hi thanks for posting your fix, it worked on my IPhone but not IPad. I'll keep on trying. It's only 4 1/2 months old.  Pretty disappointed.

My Charge 3 still isn't syncing and is now over 12 hours behind.  I've tried everything but it just wont find it on Bluetooth. Hasn't synced since 16th May. I'm using an Android phone, tried uninstalling the app, restarting my phone before reinstalling the app, turning Bluetooth off and on as requested to establish a connection but still cant find the Charge 3. I've gone back to my Charge 2 for now but still keep trying, If no luck when it next needs charging, Im going to take it back as not fit for purpose.

I’ve heard that Fitbit have a syncing issue at the moment, which they are trying to fix. Apparently there is a message on their website. Mine has stopped syncing again too, so going to leave it until they say problem is sorted. Hopefully it won’t be long as very frustrating.

Thank you, I have to reboot the watch and close and reopen Bluetooth on the phone daily - sometimes more times a day, it's a pain, let's hope they fix it!

Exactly same issue since firmware update. Very poor ive contacted support many many times all i get is standard troubleshooting replies. Wish I knew how dodgy fitbits were before I spent $$$

Have re-synced mine this morning: click on Bluetooth ‘forget my device’. Click on app to reset with Bluetooth. On actual Fitbit scroll across and click on settings. Then scroll down and click on ‘about’. Scroll down and choose reboot, by clicking on the tick. Will reboot in about 10 secs. You don’t lose data - hope it works.

Thanks works once to link to app then doesnt work/synch from then on weird thing as my wife has a versa 2 and has distance problems and its new.

Mine is working and syncing now, but I have no explanation for that. It sounds to me like they all lost that ability then Fitbit stepped in and fixed the issue. But then again what do I know. Mine charge 3 is only 5 months old so I was quite disappointed. Seems to be fine now. Good luck!!!

Andrea is right, I now "forget this device" on Bluetooth, then turn off Bluetooth, reboot Fitbit in its settings, then turn on Bluetooth again and it finds my Fitbit. Then I go back to the app and it will sync. I had to do that a number of times, seems to happen whenever WIFI glitches, the iPhone may have trouble switching from Data to WIFI and back and looses some connections but I'm not sure about that. It's been behaving for almost a week now. Do not throw the Fitbit out! I was ready to do it too, but it's not cheap and there are solutions out there!
