So I was wondering if there are plans to add an alarm that you can set for example between 7 and 7:30, but that fitbit wakes u up in the lightest part of your sleepcycle? Is this function coming? Or maybe the api so that android as sleep will finally support fitbit? I mean they do all other manufacturers and some of us really need this function because our sleep is bad.

Best AnswerHello,
just adding I got my brand new Inspire HR today, which I bought just because I thought it had some sort of Smart Alarm functionality already built in it. I mean, I knew it had alarms, I knew it tracked sleep phases so I thought it MUST have had some way to combine the two!
It's incredible this feature is not there, and I cannot see why. I think that, since I have the opportunity to do so, I will return my Inspire HR and get money back, since that functionality was the main reason I bought it for. I know, my mistake in not checking properly, but I mean...it's obvious!
It might be coming to Charge 3 after all.
If I read https://blog.fitbit.com/fitbit-sleep-tools/, fitbit mentions Smart Wake is available on all Fitbit devices with heart rate tracking.
It is using present tense not future tense and the blog was last updated on 20 Feb 2020.
So what's your thoughts?
Fingers crossed.
What's going on? That blog post says that my Charge 3 should have this feature.
I saw that first, and wasted time trying to find it in the app and on my device - thinking I must be blind.
@Fbitter Yes, the blog is confusing. I actually reported it to fitbit support via Twitter. They said they concern about the accuracy and will follow up. But that's back in Feb and there is no further update. You may report it to fitbit and see if they would react.

Hi everyone, sorry for the confusion. The blog will be updated - Smart Wake is planned to come to trackers this year.
Yes !!! Finally. Please tell me it the alarm with come from the app on the phone though as the vibrate does not wake me at all !!!!
Thanks for finally getting this function, I was really disappointed to didn't already have it
Best Answer@LizFitbit Thanks for the update. I saw the blog now mentioned: "Smart Wake is currently available on Fitbit Versa series and Fitbit Ionic devices and is coming soon to more trackers this year."
Now fitbit has just announced the Charge 4 with Smart Wake this week.
However, I am sure many of us are eager to know. Will this Smart Wake feature come to Charge 3?
Thanks.
I think her (Liz) comment was pretty clear: it will be coming to the Charge 3 sometime this year.
I'm going to subscribe to this thread (via the gear icon at the top right of the page) in the hopes that someone will post here when that happens.
I got the Charge 3 a month before the Charge 4 came out. But atm I didn't see an update saying that the Charge 4 has the smart alarm... so maybe we still have time and hope
Any news?
My sleep has been awful as of late and I'm thinking a smart alarm will help me wake feeling more refreshed.
I really don't want to buy the Charge 4 since my 3 has plenty of life left in it.
I might start looking at other options outside of Fitbit that I can use for a smart wake alarm and fitness tracker... 😔
it was added to the charge 4.
hopefully the 3 will get too soon.
