Charge 3 black lines on the screen

My Charge3 has several black horizontal lines on the screen (assuming dead pixels?) that have started appearing this week. I have tried restarting my device a few times, fully charging it, and changing the clock face. None of this has helped. Does anyone have any other ideas that may help?

 

The device also has not been the best at sleep tracking since these appeared.  And lastly there is a massive delay in displaying my calorie burn on the app. Not too sure how this happened as the FitBit was completely fine a week ago. (Device purchased in February).

I did, on 4th August. And they were helpful but it's all that has happened
since. The last time I had an issue I got the replacement within days, this
time fitbit are dragging their feet and putting me through unnecessary
hoops despite the fact that I was told on 4th August that I was eligible
for a replacement.

I have the same problem with my charge 3 ,ie lines going down the screen please can someone contact me with an answer.

Hello Maria, this is Chuck. I’m having the same issues with the black lines across the screen of my Charge 3. This is the second replacement charge 3 as was having the same issue with the original purchased one and a previous replacement.

I was going to start a new topic but see that I don't have to. I’m having the same issues with the black lines across the screen of my Charge 3. I'm having this issue too! I can't see most of the bottom of my screen. And it's been taking longer to sync with my app since this started.

Hi, short update on my case. As my charge 3 is 1.5 years old 🙂 i even did not go to the customer chat here. I went to the store i bought it (in Latvia, Europe) and gave the watch to the warranty service. We have 2 years warranty in Europe, so I am waiting for their answer/decision. They told me I have a scratch on the face of the watch and this could be a reason why the lines appeared, but I will fight firther if they tell me - sorry, no warranty. Because I see this is a major problem for whole or partly edition of charge 3 from the comments here. So I await they will solve this with fitbit (if) as a supplier. Sorry for my english, I will update my outcome as soon as clear.

I to am have the same issue with my charge 3 , the horizontal black lines and the battery  draining fast, less the 8 hrs. The watch is less then a yr old . In my mind you pay that kind of money on something  it should last alot longer. Thanks in advance

Go to fitbit support , they where very good, and arranged for a replacement
with no hassle

Hi! I see this has happened to a lot of people and I'm not the only one. So my Charge3 has black/white lines (vertical lines in my case). I tried to reset many times and fully charging it too and none of this has helped. Can someone from fitbit give me some support?

 

Also, I see this is frequent too but my sleep tracking does not always work and sometimes I wake up and nothing pops up in the app as if the sleep hasn't been track. Not sure how to fix this either.

Hi I am having the same issue with my Charge 3. My battery doesn't last, my screen is pixeled and very difficult to read also it seems like my heart rate monitor is not working as there is hundreds of active minutes each time I look at my phone. There seems to be lines going across and I've tried to reboot and follow instructions but nothing seems to work so any help would be appreciated.

I have the same issue. 13 black lines across the screen literally overnight, did hard restart and also changed clock faces to no avail. The fitbit live chat service is also not working right now. Help! (Please!)

This has also happened all of a sudden on my device.  My heart rate is no longer being tracked as well.

Hi there 

 

This has happened to mine also. I've tried all the tips, long restart, change the clock face etc nothing is working. It's still under warranty I believe as its still fairly new. 

 

Please can someone help.

I contacted Fitbit and they replaced my charger. It is now working fine. Try contacting them.

Hi Marre

I have same problem with my fitbit charge 3 - I have restarted my device several times as well as changed the clock face.  The black horizontal lines are so bad that the device is not legible (I cannot tell the time or anything on it) - I literally have to look at the app to see my workouts & other info because the screen has too many small horizontal lines.

 

Please I need help ASAP - my device is about 11 months old.

I contacted Fitbit and they were very helpful in sending me a replacement one.

Contact them immediately as you seem to be close to the end of your warranty.

They should be able to help you.
