Charge 3 black screen

Please help.... My Fitbit battery died. I charged the battery, now the only thing that will come up on the screen is a smiley face. I have tried all the restart options with no luck. What can I do?

I did all of above, changed the face clock and did a reset.. The fitbit comes back bright for a bit, numbers are faded out and then it goes blank.. It still charges and records everything but I am unable to see anything on it.. I press the side button and it is blank.. Nothing i do brings anything to the face of the fitbit.. It is completely blank..

Hi it didn’t work :-(. Tried different faces with no luck.  I gave up this is too much time spent trying to factory reset. I still have insurance on the device so I’m gonna put it to use.

Replacement hopefully on the way.

I paid extra to upgrade to Fitbit 4 as has the best reviews. Several people seem to have the same issues I had with Fitbit 3

Darn I don’t have that option. Must do when this one stops getting covered. A replacement is on its way but I worry when it updates I’ll be back here -_-“

I opened a support ticket. Spoke with Support and they could not rectify the black screen with resets.

My Charge 3 was 2 months out of warranty so they gave me a 35% discount for a new Fitbit.

I have tried the restart already and nothing works. It won't charge either.
