Charge 3 blank display

It seems my Charge 3 broke down last evening after some 6 days of usage. At around 22:30, when I was reading in bed, it vibrated shortly as if there was a notification. The screen stayed black though; there is no display. From that moment on the Charge 3 has been unresponsive. Screen as well as button doesn't react to touch or presses any more. The heart rate sensor is emitting light constantly (green all the time, instead of slow flicker).

Connecting it to the charger doesn't change anything: no charge indication and symptoms stay the same. So no way to reboot either.

 

What to do next?

I'll contact my supplier in the evening, have a busy day at work today

Fitbit charge 3 SE bought from Amazon.

iPhone SE v.12.2.

 

my fitbit charge 3 SE’s display is blank and i tried doing all things suggested in the forum like charging it then pressing the side to restart. Still nothing happened. When I sync in the app, it says the battery is full.

all i get is the watch vibrating but still no display.

what other things do i need to do?

Go on the app and change the clockface worked for meSent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Thanks for the tip on the hard reset, that's what worked for me.  I had tried many soft resets with no luck. Not sure if this helped, but i also had updates the firmware through the app on my iphone.

I took off my charge 3 and washed ny hands . When i placed it back on my hand the screen was blank. Tried resetting and all it does is vibrate. 

I have had my charge 3 approximately 3 mths and now its dead. Had a charge 2 for 18 mths it died. I give up

I am only getting a hepatic response. Got a smiley face saw an exclamation mark on the battery, it finally charged to 97%. Started working then went blank again. Did this several times. While seeing the wrong date and time shut down Bluetooth, uninstalled app reinstall app was able for app to see my tracker but never synced with my phone. Bluetooth unable to find the watch. I have done this several times to no avail still have a blank screen but hepatic responses with and without be n attached to the charging cable.

Is your display blank? If yes go to Fitbit app on your phone and select a new face and apply. I have had this fix the problem every time.  3 times so far.

I have tried many things, but my charge 3 is not connecting to my phone Bluetooth. Therefore I cannot change the clock face. I have tried syncing it to my laptop, same issue. I am only getting it to vibrate and nothing more. I have given up.

Connect it to the charger and hold down the reset button for about 10 seconds it will reboot. That’s how I fixed mine. It will not reset unless it’s connected to the charger.
