Charge 3 blank screen

After exactly a year and two weeks my Fitbit charge 3 screen has gone black although everything else is still working. I have tried all on line suggests to get it working but to no avail. Have you any suggestions?

it is rather galling that it goes wrong just after the warranty runs out - I assume this is just bad luck but it does seem a bit of a coincidence given I have never had any other problems for the first 12 months

Yep mines just don't the same. You used to be able to talk with them on line and get things sorted. This is my second charge 3 the first was changed for the same fault after 3 months.

Hi there @charliemg, welcome on board. Thanks for the details provided.

While reading your post I was wondering if by any chance you have tried restarting your Charge 3? If not yet, please restart it by following these steps.

If the restart doesn't work, try to perform a long restart by following the steps below:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again

Let me know the outcome, I'll be around.
