Welcome to the forums!

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

If the reset doesn't work see this pinned thread: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-3/Charge-3-shows-blank-screen-when-off-charger/td-p/2995892 and after reading the first page or so jump to the last page for the latest.

what to do when restarting 3 times doesn’t work?

Best Answer

Great to see new faces @gr82brees.

Thanks for troubleshooting this display issue by yourself. If there restart process didn't work, I recommend performing a long restart:

  • Plug the device into the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • Remove your finger from button. Note: Device won't have a smiley face icon and should be off with a black screen.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable.
  • Plug the device into the charging cable again.
  • The smiley face icon appears on the screen.

If these steps don't work, change your clock face by following the instructions provide in the help article How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?.

Keep me posted. Smiley Happy

I had the same issue with my Charge 3.

Followed the restart instruction and it works at the first time.

Thanks.

That didn’t work for me. I had to change the clock face in settings and that fixed the problem.
