My charge 3 totally died. Blank screen, no lights at all. No smiley face no vibration. It won't sync. I've tried restarting but it doesn't responded to anything. Help

Let me help you with your unresponsive Charge 3 and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I am not sure if this is a charging issue or a display one so I would like to suggest you try the following:
Try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. You can follow these instructions to help your device charge.

After cleaning contacts and plugging it in for a few hours, all it did was made the fitbit hot to the touch. What should I try next.
