mine won't change clock face on google pixel 3 either...never ending loading
Best AnswerMy replacement Charge 3 started failing withing a few months of receiving it. The display is failing, just like the one it replaced. I am now, and have been for a while, trying to change my clock face to one I may be able to read better with all the burned out lines. For some reason, not only can I not update the device to the newest firmware, the clock face just sits and runs. No error message and no change in clock face. Rebooting of all sorts doesn't work, of course, and never does. I have a compatible device. It syncs with the phone to report data, but not to change clock face. I can let it run for ages, and no change. I cannot even find where the latest firmware update is, only the notice that it exists. I have really liked fitbit, but this device and lack of service has really soured me on them.
Best AnswerCan't only via cell phone app
Best AnswerI have just purchased a Fitbit Charge 3 to replace my Charge 2 and I have had a few problems setting up which I appear to have resolved. However, I cannot change the clock face.
I note your recommendations to change the clock face but when I have tapped on the clock face I want the screen appears to lock with a spinning wait cursor in its centre and there is no select button available.
Check to see if the app has an update. That may be an issue. There wasn't a notice for the update so now I've switched back to my old Charge 3 that has fewer lines missing so at least I can read it. Hopefully by the time it fails, I will have found a replacement device.
Best AnswerMine is doing the same thing...won't change face...just spins...deleted app and re installed. Still won't work...
Best AnswerMy old Galaxy S4 syncs ok with my Charge 3 for step, heart rate, sleep data etc but suddenly changed it's clockface to one with time plus 4 other lines of data. The display is too dim to read. I am unable to change it back to a more basic time and heart rate display. As the S4 is no longer supported the last time I checked, I will not be buying a new phone as suggested as a "fix" neither will I be buying a new Fitbit as they would also require a new phone. The display is too dim to read outdoors anyway despite changing display brightness settings. So it won't be long before it's recycled via the bin. What a waste of money it has been. The advertisements never say "can only be used with new up-to-date phones."
