Charge 3 connects to app, fully charged, responds with vibration but screen doesn't work

Hi - I'm the original owner of a Charge 3. It connects to the Fitbit app on my phone, says it's fully synched, battery is full and responds with vibrations when pressing the side button. But the screen won't turn on. I've tried changing the clock face through the app, connecting it with the charging cable and doing the various restarts suggested in the forum but nothing works to get the screen on (no smiley face, no battery icon, nothing). The firmware version is 28.20001.88.11 and there is no option in the app for me to update this to a different version. Please help!

Hi fellow Fitbit Charge 3 owner I took am one of the older purchases! I've had my Fitbit Charge 3 for over 8 yrs a long time my son bought it for me and I have loved it! It has worked amazing under the management of the owner Fitbit but since Google took over and changed software it's nothing but problems! Mine is fully charged with black screen won't indicate battery level on the screen, can't see any thing just vibrates! I've followed all your unhelpful instructions it's tracking steps when I'm not even wearing it! Thought it was hacked changed password same thing so not impressed never buying a Fitbit again have to buy new Smartwatch be cause I'm fed up trying fix this! Good luck fellow owner I hope you have better luck!
