Charge 3 dead screen

Charge 3 dead screen buttons won’t work charging don’t work. I know it’s not dead green light stays lit up on bottom. This is just day 3. I have a iOS

my charger 3 will not charge - bought new charger - nothing!!

Mine does te same. Screen is dead, but everything else works fine.

This must be a fault from fitbit, I wonder when they will replace the faulty Charge 3. This cannot be a coincidence! I am now thinking of buying an Apple watch instead...

I followed your steps but now I am stuck with just the smiley face - any advice- it's now a v annoying smile

The watch should work after you see the smiley face. If not, contact support.

Unfortunately nothing 😥😥 I'm now trying to find receipts so I can return
to shop. It wasn't even a year old so nit impressed

Mine’s maybe 6 months old. I’ve not had the problem until trying to pare to my new phone today, so thought the problem was between the 2 devices, but like others, it’s synched to my phone, just completely blank screen. 
I’ve rebooted it many times, get the smiley face and that’s it. Not even the battery icon, but I know it’s charging because I can tell from the app. 
really annoying.

Luckily I have my receipt and bought it from the same place as my new phone so exchange should be easy enough.

Judging by everything I’m seeing today while Googling the issue, it seems to be a common and consistent issue.

I couldn’t fix it no matter how many I reset it. Bought a new one at the end 😞

My screen is all black after going dead. It has been on charge for over two hours, green light on, her vibrations, when I sync it will sync with updated steps etc....screen is dead. Cleaned the contacts and watch, reset but no smiley face or battery charging on screen. Less than a year old. Any other advice?

If it's less than a year old contact fitbit directly. They were very helpful & I got a replacement within the week.

Did the same with mine, bought another one as this was a Xmas present from my children.
One would have thought that they monitor these community feed and provide help and support, in our case a full refund, but nothing from Fitbit! Speak volume!...

I have had this happen too, dead screen with green light.   I know it is still tracking.
My fitbit is 1 1/2 yrs old.   I see from all the comments over the last year or so this is an ongoing problem with the charge 3.  Also noted that fitbit has not come up with a solution on how to fix it except replace it.  My expectation that a $200 watch should last longer.  Is this a money grab for fitbit, continuing to sell a product with a known problem with no solution or support.  It appears I need to purchase a new tracking watch within my budget.   As much I like the size of the charge 3, this is an ongoing problem I don't want to waste my money. 

Fitbit if you are reading or any comments why has there been replies posted.
