I recently went swimming and ever since the screen is now distorted and there are lines all over the screen which makes it difficult to read the display.

If your tracker's display is corrupted, I recommend restarting the device by following the instructions provided in the help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?.
If this process doesn't work, perform a long restart:

I’ve since been in touch with Mark @ Fitbit and they are sending me a replacement which is fab news 👍
