I woke up to my screen being grey with lines diagonally on the face. Have done a restart, changed the clock face and nothing has changed. Looks like this is a flaw and really annoyed as I can not get it sorted. What next?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @bex1113.
I am sorry to hear your Charge 3 has a grey background with lines. Thank you for trying to resolve this, I totally understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. Since you've tried to restart the tracker and change a clock face, I would like to confirm if you've tried doing a long restart:
Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Hi,
Like Bex113 my watch face is also showing grey lines. I've tried the long reset with no joy. Ive only had my watch since may and have loved it up unti now.
Is there anything else I can try?
Thanks for your help

the digitizer may be scratched that's problly it
that if its true is a hardware problem
scince charge three was shown to have good water resistance wet dust and stuff may have gotten into used or in your personal charge 3 avoid water and hot water contact with your digitizer old or new
Update:
I just noticed soware junk ihe software may be infecting the fitbits afrom a nonhome virus and welp they junk if the digitizer melts into the glass and other electronics or the glass melts into the digitizer and eventually touchscreen nodes
