Hello, as of late July, I've noticed black horizontal lines appearing on my Charge 3 as if pixels are missing. It started off as 1-2 lines and it's up to at least 6 lines. I've already tried the various reset methods, changed the clock face, and I recently updated the fitbit. Nothing has worked and I've only had this device for a few months. Does anyone have a solution that has actually worked for this problem?

Mine is doing the same. Its a replacement charge 3 already since last one had battery issues. I tried all the restarts and resets and tried changing the clock but all the lines or missing pixels are still showing up. Starting to get hard to read time on it.

08/20/2020. Fitbit update left white
horizontal lines across my Charge 3
was not present before I plugged it in and hit the update button.
I called they said it was a hardware issue in my Fitbit charge 3.
How come it showed up ONLY after the update?
My fit bit is out of warranty.
Many Help please

Your problem is just like mine.
I am Brazilian. Brought mine on Jan 2019 and the first line appeared 19/08 I thought the update would fix it but it did not. Every day a new line appears between 8-10 am. I wonder if it has something to do with sleep sensor. Now there are 12 black lines on my charge 3. @SchoonerBoatsAK please tell us if you find a solution

Same thing with the lines in my display 25% off the next new watch is an insult I think there is a scam going on to get everyone to upgrade

I have the exact same issue, 3 or 4 horizontal lines, making it hard to read.. This is my second Fitbit, and I am getting very discouraged with the overall quality... First one had terrible battery issues, this one has a bad screen after wearing for about 6 months or so.. I don't have Twitter, so I can't message support... Is there an email address or a number to call from Canada for help? Tried all the regular troubleshooting, restarts, changing the clock, its dead pixels...

Hi,
I have actually given up with waiting for a reply from the customer service team, so have thrown mine away. This was my second purchase in just over 2 years and it would seem that when your watch gets to a certain age or an upgrade has been made, it becomes unusable, so I have come to the conclusion is not to purchase any more which is quite sad really as the watch had some good qualities about it. I have also read that Google is now the new proud owners of the company it might be an idea to contact them instead.

Hi @Kdaborn I"m not sure, but see if the USA number also works for Canada.
Fitbit customer support is doing their best, but right now be prepared for longer wait times. Please be patient. Support is limited by the number of representatives available at a given time and the hours of operation. Chat lines are open when they have live help.
USA: call (877) 623-4997

Hi @SunsetRunner some devices last longer than others. I have a friend with an original Ionic that is still going strong. Sorry this happened to you and you trashed your Fitbit. Google tendered an offer to buy Fitbit, but with all the necessary legalities involved, they are not yet the owners. People who have issues with Fitbit need to contact Fitbit and there are several ways, this forum included, to do that.
