My Charge 3 is counting steps while I am driving in a car or bus. Also it's logging a bike activity for this.
Anyone facing similar issue? Any solution for it?

Seems this has been a problem since 2014 and not solved yet. We have the best engineers, our software shouldnot count steps during driving....bla bla bla. Just a tweak in the firmware "Drive Mode". Seems your smart geeks can't find a solution. Wasted my money on buying a fitbit. Won't recommend to others purchasing any fitbit product. ☹️

Yes, it's happening to me. I motorcycle 110 miles every day and Fitbit Charge 3 seems to think I'm doing this through human exertion. How do I stop it?

Other charges also suffered from this. In the past their have been apps that quickly activate and log the driving activity

This charge 3 is the biggest waste of money I’ve spent ! It’s off my wrist in my glove box , and still counting steps while I’m driving. And trying to connect to your phone is a joke . Texts won’t come in , only phone calls . Followed all your guys instructions , still nothing , sending this crap back

There is a good fix for it.
Firstly, make sure auto-recognised exercises are off. This will stop your Fitbit making an ‘activity’ in your Activity feed for anything. It saves time tidying up unwanted activities.
Secondly, when you’ve made a journey which isn’t exercise;
- go to ‘ Track my exercise’
- select ‘Log’
- then choose ‘Driving’
add the start and confirm the end time.
Once logged, the steps, calories and distance will be updated and ignored.
I hope this helps.

Too much of a hassle...

Why not have an option on your watch "Drive Mode" Only your Heart Rate is captured. Simple and easy fix in the firmware or as additional "Exercise"
