My fitbit is saying ive walked over 6 km today but ive hardly been doing anything. Is it always correct and yesterday it said i did over 25 000 steps???

Welcome on board @Sharon.k, it's nice to see you around! Thanks for bringing this to my attention. 

Is your Charge 3 working fine now? I'd recommend restarting your device by following these steps:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. 
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Please keep an eye on your device's behavior and let me know if you continue to have the same issue.

I'm having the same issues - and I have plugged it in, rebooted and done all the usual stuff several times now.

For the past 3-4 days my Fitbit shows 70+ minutes of daily activity, although I have barely been moving. It's now 9:21am EST and it says I have burned almost 1200 calories and been active for 53 minutes, when I have in fact been sitting on my **ahem** all morning.

My Fitbit is also showing crazy data. Infact it is brand new. The past few days its been showing that I've been walking over 15k+ steps when I have barely moved around. How do I fix this?

Hello, I am also having trouble with incorrect stats on my charge 3. I have done a restart, a long restart, and reset to factory settings multiple times. None of these seems to be working. Not sure where to go from there…
