Hi I buy Charge 3, after 8 months it is difficult to read indoors and impossible to read outside! The brightest setting in the device is woefully dim. Can we get a software or firmware update to fix this please??

I had the same issue and found out that my FitBit charge 3 was asleep. If you press the button on your device once, you get a screen with 2 options: don't disturb & sleep. If sleep is activated your screen will dim. If you do this again, you can let the device wake up again.

I am having the same problem. I also did the reset and that did not work
