I’m not getting my texts or phones calls anymore. I’ve done all of the updates, reboot and troubleshooting. Nothing has helped

I have done that several times to no avail. I wonder if Fitbit is planning a patch or something or is just gonna let all of us do without message notifications

Hi,

I'm also having this issue. I bought my Fitbit Charge yesterday.

I have a Fitbit Charge 3 paired to my Huawei P30 Pro.

My Fitbit Charge 3 is using the most up to date version.

I have tried unpairing, restarting both phone and Fitbit, reinstalling the Fitbit app, re-setting up the Fitbit on the Fitbit app, disabling and re-enabling Bluetooth.

I have allowed notifications, given Fitbit app all the security permissions, set power settings to continue using it in background.

Based on previous posts, I now realise that Huawei is not yet compatible with Fitbit Charge 3. I did not know this at the time of purchasing this product.

An estimated time frame for when this would be fixed would be ideal.

Thanks,

Nathan

Is this charge 3fitbit compatible with my samsung 9+ phone, cause i am unable to get any notifications, like email,text..

I have had this problem for several months. I finally got it fixed by allowing "show previews always" on my message notifications. That worked for about a month and now I am back to square one. I contacted Fitbit about this several months ago and I was told then that they were working on a fix. Seems like it shouldn't take several months to fix this problem. I depend on my fitbit for messages and calls on my wrist. Not a happy with fitbit right now.  😞

Mine still does not notify me for incoming texts.

I don’t believe Fitbit can or will fix this defect .

Is there a fix for charge 3 yet? It has been months with no notifications.

I have Android.

I have the Huawei P30 as well and ceased getting all notifications to the device recently, too. I've tried everything you've tried (last night) and am exceptionally frustrated. At least coming here, I know it's not just me. Fitbit.... Are you really working on a fix?? This device is now half worthless to me. The should say least put out a public notification that their devices are not currently Huawei compatible!!

Oddly the test call works, but I still don't get any live notifications to my Fitbit charge 3.

I used to, though did take some time for it to start working, but stopped working about 3 months ago. Tried everything.

I sure wish Fitbit would fix the Charge 3 notifications. I have tried it
all a number of times and the text notification simply doesn’t work . Oddly
the phone one does .

Anyway after all this time I have to assume nothing will happen and fitbit
is just saying nice things and waiting for me to buy a new one .

They will be waiting a while.

If anyone has a miracle cure I would like to hear it .

Thanks

Are you using a Huawei P30? I used to and that was exactly how it went for
me. I loved the phone's performance but it's because the Huawei OS doesn't
play nice with many things, Fitbit being one of them.

You'll find that with a few apps.

Has this been fixed yet? I can receive call notifications on my fit bit charge 3 but not texts and this is mainly what I bought it for? Considering sending it back. Thanks!

I'm using a Xiaomi MI6. Used to work and oddly I received the test notification, but no real notifications work. Tried all the troubleshooting options

Try holding down the button on the side of the fitbit. A screen with screen wake and notifications should pop up.Make sure there is a notification memo that looks like a text box showing above the word notifications. If there is nothing showing, it is not receiving messages. Tap above the word to turn it on. If you want your screen wake screen to work when you move your wrist, the light bulb should be showing above the words screen wake. If you don't want it to do that, tap on the light bulb to shut it off. Hope this works for you.
