HI,
I have owned the Charge 3 since release and consistently having issues, almost every single day where when I try to sync to my Charge 3 it works fine the first half of the day and then all of a sudden I cannot sync using the app, see the Subject for details.
Things I do to fix this, but only works 50% of the time:
Force stop app
switch off Bluetooth
Reboot phone
Launch Fitbit app and allow the app to turn on Bluetooth and Sync.
Sometimes I toggle WiFi on and off and Bluetooth and on and off and force close the app and that may get it to sync.
Sometimes I Toggle on and off All Day Sync and Always Connected and reboot etc and sometimes that works, but nothing is clear to me, what is actually going on and what is solving the issue, I cannot determine the cause of the issue.
I am getting very frustrated with this because it is almost every day and I am starting to wish I stuck with my Charge 2. Can anyone provide any feedback on how I can fix this once and for all?
Rebooting with the charger connected not an acceptable solution although this seems to fix it, I cannot carry this with me everywhere everyday and neither should I have to.
Thanks!

Hello @Deucalion0, thanks for stopping by! I really appreciate your time and efforts while troubleshooting these syncing difficulties. Nice way to go!
In order to solve this, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and remove the tracker. In the list of Bluetooth devices you'll see the Ionic and next to it, this symbol "!". Hit the symbol and it will take you to the next step, once you're there select the option that says "Forget this device" or "Unpair".
Once you've made sure about that, go back to the Fitbit app, go to the "Account" option in the upper right corner and select "Set up a Device". This should start the setup process for your device.
If your phone is managing multiple Bluetooth connections simultaneously:
These interruptions are typically caused by operating system and Bluetooth limitations. It's also possible that an app on your phone is causing the issue.
If you have an Android phone, try these steps:
The API used in these apps makes it difficult for Fitbit to communicate reliably with your phone. Ford provides a list of apps but note that other companies may use the API as well.
Let me know if there's anything else I may assist you with.

Hi thanks for your feedback and suggestions.
Unfortunately, none of this worked 😞
As always, yesterday, the Charge 3 is not found, Fitbit app is stuck on Looking, I tried your suggestions for over an hour straight and even all of the other things I usually do did not work either, the only thing that worked was restarting using the charger, the Charge 3 is instantly found.
I was working out this morning and could not Sync the Charge 3 again, it happens way more than it works normally these days. Again a restart fixed it, but this is not ideal by any means. Do we have any idea if this is a software or hardware issue? I am hoping this is solved permanently as this is increasingly frustrating and an overall bad Fitbit experience.
Thanks.

Mine is also having these problems. I just got it today, charged it, and it won't connect. Tried all the suggested trouble shoot and my phone sees it, but will not connect.

My notifications are not working at all for my OnePlus 7. This has been going on for a long time. Have tried all the tricks and none seems to work.
Appreciate your assistance.
Cheers,
Rudra.
