Over the past week or so the sync has become increasingly difficult. I've deleted and reset my Charge 3 on multiple occasions, switched Bluetooth on and off... my Samsung s10 on and off and managed to force sync updates (sometimes).
But since last night, none of these are now working. Fitbit... you need to resolve this, it's a fundamental part of using the Fitbit and I have friends who are advising a Garmin is the solution!

I've been trying for about a week also.. I rang fitbit just before Christmas when it did it the first time and they managed to resolve. A month later and we are back to square one.. Think I will be calling them again tomorrow.

Same problem for me too. A reboot fixes the issue for a day or two and then it’ll stop syncing again and another reboot is needed.

I’m on my third charge 3 since sept. Set up number three yesterday and within 29 minutes it refused to sync. I have to reboot or reinstall at least daily if not several times a day. Fed up with it now and wish I’d bought a different brand

Fitbit is STILL not syncing properly
I get maybe 3 or 4 syncs a day, at random times, sometimes through the night, sometimes mid afternoon! Fitbit moderators...can you advise if there will soon be a software upgrade? I've not had these kind of problems until the last 'update'!!!

I’m sat on the phone with Tech service twice while he walked me through the issue- it did resolve for about three days and then nothing. I don’t have hours to repeat the steps to not get results.
I agree FitBit needs to resolve the sync problem. Apple says it’s a FitBit issue NOT an Apple issue.
my first Charge 3 worked very well - this one is just a headache.
when I contacted FitBit chat- it doesn’t work. Wish I had just bought an Apple Watch.

It is a fitbit issue, my phone is the samsung s9 and having exact same problems as those on iPhone. Mine is since the 18th dec update.

I have had to delete and reset my device every couple of days (if not every day). I am so frustrated with it and I am about to just give up and pack it back up and return it. When I go into the app and see that it hasn't synced for several hours and I manually try to sync, it can't locate my device and shows an exclamation point in a red circle. Is there a way to fix this problem???

Thanks for your input. I will try to do that next time. I just did a total delete and reset, again. I don't think it should have to be reset so often.

I have had to reset twice daily to make my device work at all. So fed up with it

unfortunately these don’t work. I was able to sync it for a few days, but it just goes off and won’t resync. Very frustrated with something so undependable. 😞

This has been so very frustrating. At this point my Charge 3 hasn’t synced with my IPhone 8plus since Dec 26. I’ve tried everything but the clear user data delete start all over thing that I didn’t want to do. I wish I would have just gotten an IWatch. I loved my other Fitbit’s so much. I like the app. I’m just so frustrated right now with this not working. Fitbit PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!!! This problem has been since going on for 6 months. I am spending too much time on something that is SUPPOSED to make my life easier. This is ridiculous!!!!

I was unable to sync again earlier, the red error message flashed up in the ios app. Force closed the app but no joy. This time I toggled Bluetooth off and back on via my iPhone settings and then around a minute or two later my charge 3 synced with the app once again.
