Charge 3 not syncing

My Charge 3 stopped syncing to my phone (Android).  The last sync was Sunday, Oct 18 at 12:08 AM.  All subsequent days say 0 steps.  I have done a soft reset. Turned Bluetooth on and off. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app.  It started soon after I updated the app.  Is there any way to roll back the update on my phone?  Will there be a patch for this issue?

Sorry to hear that your Charge 3 isn't syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. This is an isolated incident as not many other users are having this issue with the Fitbit app. Also we don't have previous versions of the app available. You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
