Charge 3 not tracking heart rate when asleep.

A few days ago my Fitbit stopped tracking heart rate when I’m asleep. It still tracks just fine during the day, and even gaps when I’m awake in the middle of the night, but as soon as I’m asleep, it just won’t track and then gives me simplified sleep stages the next morning because it “couldn’t get a consistent heart rate reading.” As far as I’m aware my sleep patterns have not changed, and there have been nights where I’ve worn the watch much looser and still had it work just fine. It seems to be a bug with the software where I guess it tells the watch to stop tracking as soon as it detects sleep, but I’ve already performed a reset and it still hasn’t fixed the issue. Again, I want to emphasize that the tracker works perfectly fine when I’m awake, and every other feature also works as intended. I checked up and down the forums and apparently nobody seems to have this issue, at least not specifically related to sleep, so any tips? Is anyone aware of what might be the ultimate cause and if/how to fix it? I’d appreciate any help!
