Hi @tguyer ,
Have you tried restarting with the cable?
1.Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
5.Disconnect your tracker from the charging cable.

A hard reset actually fixed this issue for me one day. i was on a hike and noticed I got the vibrations for my step goal, but no animation. Nothing. Went home and did the reset and it started functioning again.

Sometimes when I press the "button" it just vibrates and nothing happens. I fixed it by plugging it in and holding down the "button" for about like 15 seconds and then the watch restarts and a smiley face appears. Wait and then the watch should boot up and work again. If it does not work, just call customer support.

Hello,
I have had this issue twice now. The solution you provided worked the first time (I'm currently not at home and can't try it again until later), but I am concerned that this has occurred again. Is this a common issue with the Charge 3? I have been very happy with my Fitbit apart from this.
