I'm having the same problem described here https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-3/Charge-3-is-showing-white-vertical-lines/m-p/3305047#M44483
It happened after charging after running out of battery.
What should I do? My screen works but it has vertical lines all over the place.

This happened to both Charge 3 devices that we bought for myself and another family member. Fitbit replaced both devices after I called customer service and nothing could be done to fix the problem on either device.

I received a "Replacement Offer" by email. IMPORTANT: I learned more about the warranty on the replacements--after persisting with several emails with questions that were not answered in the "offer" details--that I could:
(1) EITHER replace the original Charge 3 with a 30-day warranty, which I decided was not long enough because both of our Charge 3 devices got the white lines at 3 - 5 months ...
(2) OR replace it with a 50% discount on any other Fitbit device EXCEPT THE CHARGE 4 (or Ace devices for kids) with a ONE-YEAR WARRANTY, just as we would on any other newly purchased Fitbit device.
We ended up buying two new Versa 2 smartwatches to replace the two Charge 3 devices that broke. Each one was 50% off the current sale price of $199.99 for $99.98 (plus local tax, with free 5- to 7-day shipping).
I was happy to have the Versa 2 because I've learned that I like it more than the Charge 3, but my other family member would have been happier with a narrower Tracker like the Charge 4, which is not eligible for this replacement offer but probably more reliable than the Charge 3. We just couldn't trust Fitbit's interest in fixing the Charge 3 issues that were reported so widely in the Fitbit Community, now that the Charge 4 is being widely sold and promoted. The 30-day warranty on the Charge 3 replacement absolutely undermined our belief that getting a replacement Charge 3 was worth doing because we worried that it might prevent us from getting any Fitbit at 50% off if the replacement Charge 3 failed after 30 days.
Good luck, and I hope that our story helps you.

Followed instructions and it did not work. Now what? This happened back in February and I cannot stand it anymore! Nothing seems to correct it. Charge 3 was purchased in December 2018.

I have the same issue with my Charge 3. The lines appeared a week after having had it for one year. I've tried restarting according to the instructions here several time but the issue remains.

Hi @MarreFitbit , this happened to me also. I've tried restarting multiple times and that does not fix this issue. Can you please also help me open a ticket?

My FB is doing the same thing. I have not read this on this list. But I started seeing every other line dropping out starting from the top. It now covers the whole clock as do today.

I am having same problem. Started about 1 month ago and lines are gradually getting worse. I received last Christmas. I also tried your troubleshooting suggestion with no success.

Charge 3 has been rebooted but still has lines going through the screen and also not vibrating when I get a call or text
