I'm having the same problem described here https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-3/Charge-3-is-showing-white-vertical-lines/m-p/3305047#M44483
It happened after charging after running out of battery.
What should I do? My screen works but it has vertical lines all over the place.

Welcome on board @HugoCSousa, it's nice to see you here! Thanks for describing the problem you're having with your Charge 3.
If the display has vertical lines, I'd recommend restarting your Charge 3 by following these steps:
- Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
- Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
- Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
- Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
- Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
Let me know the outcome!

Hi,
The restart didn't solve the problem.
What should I do next?
Thanks

I am having the screen issue with the lines that started yesterday when I charged my Charge 3. I tried the restart and reboot twice and neither is fixing the problem. My Fitbit is 6 months old and I love it. I’ve had a Fitbit since the first one came out years ago.
What other options are there to fix this screen issue?
Thanks,
Cindy

I've been having the same problem with my Fitbit. Just started this morning out of no where and have tried restarting it and changing the face but hasn't worked. Any other tips or tricks

I have the exact same issue - I've tried holding the power but after the smiling face shows - I still have the same issue. I've also noticed the screen isn't responding the same to swipes 😞
Please can you pass on to customer support?
Thanks
Matt

Welcome to the Community Forums @MatthewGardner! I'll be more than glad to help you.
Thanks for already restarting your Charge 3 in order to solve the lines on the screen. As per the description of your post, it seems that your device is still syncing, so I'd suggest changing the clock face to a different one to see if this brings the display back.
No worries if you cannot swipe the screens, this process is done through the Fitbit app.
Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

I have the same problem. Bought my charge 3 direct from Fitbit the day they were released. I had it approx 2 months and had lines appear across the screen. Fitbit were fantastic and replaced it without quibble in December 2018. Last week I developed the same problem but this time with vertical lines not horizontal. Again Fitbit sent me a replacement without question. The replacement came today and has vertical lines all over it before I've even set it up!!!!!!!
This is getting ridiculous. I had my Charge 2 for two years without any issue whatsoever. What is wrong with the 3's????? What use is sending me a replacement that is already faulty 😞

Hello, My charge 3 is doing the same thing. White vertical lines. I tried restarting it but it hasn't changed anything. Is there anything else I could try?

I have grey-ish vertical stripes. I don't know if they are sort of grey or sort of white but I have them and resetting the fitbit didn't do anything. I tried holding down for fifteen seconds and then it shows the smiley and restarts but the screen stays the same.
I didn't put any water on it. It happened randomly while charging.
I can't replace it because it was a birthday present and I can't afford a new one so any other solutions that would be helpful and would fix it?
