I just received my tracker about an hour ago. I've turned it on and synced it and I've got a solid white line across the middle of the screen! Is there any way of fixing this or is it going to have to be sent back for replacement?
A reboot didn't help...

@SunsetRunner Thanks for the update. Fitbit support asked me to try that too but it didn’t work unfortunately.
Fitbit have sent me a link to order a replacement... but it doesn’t have the option to choose the blue grey/ rose model which is what I have (and what I want it replaced with)... so the saga continues...

Is there any solid resolution with this issue? I just got my new charge 3 special edition today and same problem. White line across the screen!

@malthomp There doesn’t appear to be a solid resolution for the issue. My advice would be to return/exchange. That’s what I’m having to do with mine.

I have encountered similar issue too. Got my new charge 3 yesterday. The white line seemingly appeared after the initial firmware upgrade. I am praying the upcoming firmware can resolve this although I have already requested for an one to one exchange in my country. Unfortunately, the new stock is coming in 2 to 3 weeks' time. 😞

Just updated to the new firmware and the white line still exist stubbornly.

@Joob-joobs, @Violyn and @Aislingmil, thank you for confirming that you already have a case created with the Customer Support team, or that you'll be receiving a replacement device soon.
@EFatsy, please let us know if you're able to resolve following the steps @SunsetRunner mentioned earlier. This has been useful to other users as well.
@Jimbo5604, besides the restart procedure, could you please also try to change to a different clock face and check if you continue to experience the same difficulty?

My new charge 3 Fitbit has a white line across the face while it is charging. I can’t tell if it’s fully charged. In the app it tells me to update tracker, but when I touch the bar that says update tracker nothing happens. What should I do?

There was an available firmware update on mine. I did the update and was very hopeful that the line would go away like yours did, but no luck here. I even tried all the possible steps again to no avail. Oh well.

I was hopeful that the the recent firmware update would resolve the white line issue. But no luck there.
oh well, mines is being replaced. My new ‘pebble’ is winging its way from China as we speak. I’m ever hopeful that the replacement won’t have similar issues.

Hi I got mine yesterday and spent the whole day trying to sort it out. The white line is when it’s frozen during an update. I couldn’t reset mine or sync it! Tried to get through on the phone to customer services, was on hold nearly an hour before I put the phone down. Finally found a link for online llive chat who did something in the background which cancelled the update and allowed me to reset it. It’s caused by moving out of range while you’re updating the tracker.

I'd give my xmas pudding for a white line......
Xmas morning I got the update required & it's not been working since, Ive used the charge 2 for a while and had no issues so wife bought this as an upgrade.....big mistake.
Going back as soon as the shops reopen.
Restart this....restart that..... it should work out of the box or shouldn't have been released for sale
Very disappointed.

I am sure they will sort this out with a firmware update. I am having the same issue and do have the latest update on my watch. Please add a ticket on this issue for me.
