Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Rosem55. Thank you for letting us know that you have reset and changed your Charge 3 clock face in order to see its screen.

Could you please confirm that you have tried the long restart:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Andrea Fitbit,
Yes I've done what you said.
No battery Icon comes up any more that I can see.
No Process Bar comes up that I can see.
Unplugged and Plugged it back in nothing.
It still is counting my steps and I can see that on the app.
I will be waiting for your response.

Thanks,

Mine does the same. Put the watch on. Go into a dark room and you may be able to faintly see the face. Flick to the left through the items to  settings. Press settings and alter the brightness. Mine gets stuck on dim.  Alter it to auto or normal.

Thanks for your help. Several months ago the brightness started changing to dim and that's what I did go to settings and bring it back to brightness. It now has gone black and can't see settings anymore..

Plug the device into the charging cable. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, hold the button down for 15 seconds. Remove your finger from button.
