Charge 3 screen shows horizontal lines

 Hello, as of late Oct, I've noticed black horizontal lines appearing on my Charge 3 as if pixels are missing. It started off as 1-2 lines and it's up to at least 6 lines. I've already tried the various reset methods, changed the clock face, and I recently updated the fitbit. Nothing has worked and I've only had this device for a few months. Does anyone have a solution that has actually worked for this problem?

Hi @RahulShelke, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Charge 3 has horizontal lines. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

If you haven't done so, try a long restart. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable. 
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds. 
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration. 
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur. 
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

After this, monitor your tracker and see if the issue gets fixed.

After pressing the button for 15 sec while charging device in not restarted
but smily comes on screen. Horizontal lines still on display. Please help.

I have tried long restart as per instructions to resolve the issue but still problem persists. Issue not resolved. Please help.
