Welcome on board @Casser, it's nice to see a new member here! I'd recommend restarting your Charge 3 by following these steps:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Give this a go and let me know if you can scroll across the screen. I'll be around!

Did not work for me. In fact when I connected my cord to the fitbit the battery does not appear. Just the time and steps. I tried pushing the button and get a short buzz, with only the time showing. When I hold the button it gives the buzz, the the screen goes blank.

Welcome on board @hteb01, it's nice to see you around here! Thanks for trying to follow the recommendations provided.

Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.

Once you've made sure about that, let's try restarting your device once again.

Hope this helps, let me know the outcome!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Mpanywhere! If your device doesn't have enough battery you cannot complete the restart. So please let your Charge 3 into the charger around 1-2 hours and then try restarting it by following the steps provided above

If the tracker is still not restarting, but it vibrates or syncs I'd recommend to change the clock face to a different one to see if this brings back the display. Hope that helps, keep me in the loop!

My Charge 3 stopped scrolling. Still telling time and counting steps. When I put it on the charger, the battery icon doesnt come up so the direction described in another post didn’t work. Please advise.

It's nice to have a new member around, welcome @LJ10524! Thanks for trying to restart your Charge 3. Since the restart seems not to work, I was wondering if your device is still syncing or vibrating? If so, please try changing the clock face to a different one and see if this brings back the display.

Keep me posted!
