I have done everything that has been said to do to no avail. My Charge 3 still tracks steps but I had to reset to factory settings to get the correct date and time. When I try to set up the device with the Fitbit app it finds the tracker but does not connect. I have had this Charge 3 for a little over a year so no warranty coverage. HELP!!

Thanks for troubleshooting this syncing issue. If now you are having setup issues, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there.

Absolutely nothing worked. I ended up buying a different Fitbit. So disappointed in the charge 3. It lasted only a year.
