Charge 3 stopped vibrating

Hi! A week or so ago my Fitbit Charge 3 stopped vibrating for all notifications EXCEPT for my alarm.  It still feels it's important to wake me up in the morning. 🙂  But no texts, e-mails, calls, or step goal met vibrations.

I've already tried:

- Going to notifications and making sure they were turned on

- Tried sending a test notification (several times)

- Tried restarting the Fitbit twice

- Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, went to notification settings, tried it again, and still no luck

Any other suggestions or ideas???

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your Charge 3 trackers stopped vibrating for all notifications except the alarm. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I recommend confirming that you don't have "Do not disturb" or "Sleep Mode” turned on: press and hold the button on your device. Tap a setting to turn it off. When you turn off the setting, the icon appears dim with a line through it. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device's screen?

For complete troubleshooting instructions, see Why didn't my Fitbit device alert me?

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I had thought I had checked those two items, but the "Sleep Mode" was on.  It's vibrating again!  Thanks so much!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @BigGPropel.

Thank you for joining the thread and sharing that you're experiencing the same issue with your device. I appreciate your troubleshooting efforts. I would like to confirm if you've followed the tips from this help article and tried doing a long restart:

  • Connect the device to the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration
  • The device turns off.
  • The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  • Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
