More and more frequently I am having trouble syncing my Charge 3. It is not even a year and a half old. Every few days This past couple of weeks, I have run across this issue and cannot get it to sync. I log off and on, turn Bluetooth off and on, reset my Charge 3, turn my phone off and on, try replacing the device, NOTHING works. Until eventually it does. And at that point I’ve lost a bunch of data from that day. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is it the version of the app (I have the latest)? Is the Fitbit only ever good for this long before you have to replace it? It’s my third device and I never get two years out of them. I am extremely frustrated and nearly ready to give up on Fitbit and chose a different tracker.
It is extremely frustrating. There are so many steps they tell you to go through. I do them all about ten times and then suddenly it will work. No rhyme or reason!
I wondered the same thing as it’s happened previously then all is fine for a while, then back to having issues again.
Best Answerthanks for letting me know. Now I’m convinced it’s the update!

Best AnswerI spent an hour on it yesterday only to have the same problem today. Argh! I hope they come out with an update again real soon!
Best AnswerMy Fitbit Charge 3 is only 2 months old. Had to replace a previous one. Two days ago it stopped syncing unless I completely shut it off, wait for the Happy face and bring it back to life. Then it syncs once. The Sync now option in profile also doesnt work, it refers me to settings and then closes the sync now option. Any ideas what has caused this. An update? UPDATE: I am pretty sure it is to do with the IOS updates that came on to my devices on the weekend. I have a really old IPAD and (not updated) and it was able to sync right away.
