Happening to me too. Tried changing the clock and followed the restart instructions but the screen never lights up. This has happened to me two times since getting the Charge 3 in one year. One time it fixed itself, the other I just needed to charge it fully. Now nothing seems to work.

Hi I have the same problem my screen is blank and I have tried to restart several times & tried changing clock face. Still have a blank screen? Any help appreciated. Thanks

I have exactly the same issue, lost connection, blank screen and if I press the side button it vibrates. I have reset the device and no changes. Obviously, I can't select a different clock, as the device doesn't sinc. Please email further instructions. Thank you

Same, tried changing the clock face and changing it back again but still no display

Seems a lot of people are having the same issue. Nothing works.  When synced it shows in the app the device is 100% charged.  After multiple time resetting and changing clock face I still do not get a screen.

Mine is working again. Here’s what I did. I left it uncharged for about a week. Charged it, and it began working exactly as normal again (except for the “active call” alert whilst on a call!?). Good luck!

Followed the directions to reset (charged for an hour before attempting reset). Screen starts to vibrate and face comes up and appears to short out a bit/go to a black screen and just vibrates from that point. Looking into connectivity issues but I am at a loss right now. Please HELP!!!

Hi, changing the clock face worked for me a couple of weeks ago when my charge 3 went blank.

Thank you so much! I thought I was crazy. Everything I searched said to
hold the side button for 8-15 seconds, reset, or reboot to factory reset.
None of which worked. Figured it was a dun deal. Thanks for clearing that
up😜 for me.

I am having the exact same issue. I have had to change the clock face lots of time before to restore some functionality (SMS notifications, for example), but this time is a bigger deal. I charged the fitbit, and then a blank screen with no responsiveness. No vibration and screen would not light up. Tried to change clock face, but the fitbit would not accept (seems like connection was lost as the clock face app would not update. Now I place the fitbit on charge, and it will vibrate pretty much continuously when the button is held down and the unit is on the charger, but the screen won't light up and it will not connect to the phone. My fitbit app and OS on my phone is fully up to date.

I am here on behalf of my husband. I bought him his Charge 3 for Christmas 2019 and his screen no longer shows any information or is responsive to touch. It started with the white lines and has progressively gotten worse. Now it is unreadable. I have tried all the suggestions here about plugging in, holding the button, plugging in again, etc. Nothing works.  We are clearly past the one year warranty period, but I feel that this should be covered since I have seen so many other users with the same problem...clearly a Fitbit defect. My husband is using his Fitbit to improve his health, but is feeling discouraged right now. I would appreciate some guidance and support from Fitbit. Thanks.

I figured out mine was unrepairable. I just chose to replace it since I
haven’t found another that I’m interested in buying yet.

Me too. Totally unacceptable. Why would we want to buy another Fitbit if they can’t make a product that isn’t defective?

thanks for the suggestion. I tried it and was hopeful....but no luck for me. 🙁
