Charge 3 vibrating but black screen

Hi all,

My Charge 3 randomly stopped working today. I get a black screen and it is not syncing with my phone (assume the catalyst was me being away from my phone and it disconnecting maybe).

When I press on the reset button, there is a long continuous vibration, for as long as I hold it up to about 8 seconds. I have tried plugging it in but it doesn't recognise the charger. I have also tried changing the clock face but it has somehow disconnected.

Any ideas?

Update: two days later, and still not turning on. I let it die as it was constantly vibrating. I finally have the smiley face after plugging it in but can't go any further.

I asked through chat and linked them back to this thread. I'm sure it can be done over phone too if you prefer that. Not sure the time period they allow but let them know and fingers crossed! They offered a replacement or a discount on a new one.

My Fitbit is constantly constantly vibrating and the screen has gone black but judging by what everyone is reporting its not worth contacting customer services as it's 20 months old so out of warranty. Strange how many are experiencing this at the same time - possibly an update that's caused it? I thought I'd get about 5 years before it became obsolete like my other Apple products!! Think I'll steer clear of Apple in future.

Update on mine, because it was purchased in April it was still under warranty (I think it's a year?) and they were able to replace it.

They also replaced my tracker and today I received the new one. Very happy and great service from Fitbit.

Not sure how long my warranty was but I also received word that I could receive a replacement unit, which is now on order.

Either of the help routes that fitbit offer - people have phoned them but I used the Twitter messages route.
