Charge 3 will not sync

My fitbit will not sync since September. I've tried allowing the battery to run out, charging it fully again. Restarting my phone, deleting the app and reinstalling it. It appears stuck on the failed sync from September.. The app doesn't require an update. I've search Google and forums and have tried the suggestions. My fitbit was purchased less than one year ago

Let me help you with your Charge 3 not syncing and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

I'm having the same issue. I have tried all of the steps outlined here. When I try to pair, it says "We found your tracker!" And then just tries to connect for a few minutes and fails.

I am also having the same problem after using the watch for about a month.  Having run through all the steps and then finally disconnected the watch and then tried to re set - up., now it won't even set-up.  Tried both with my motorola phone and surface computer.  no luck.  Tried to do a tech support chat.  After confirming I had done all the troubleshooting right, the only suggestion was that my devices weren't among the very few that are listed on the fully tested list, so they couldn't help.  I am astounded and disappointed.  The Charge 2 worked just fine on the motorola phone.

I am having the same issue for about the same amount of time. I have tried everything. I did reboot my charge 3 a couple of times and that allowed it to sync but that is now no longer working.

 

I purcahsed my fitbit last December so have also had it less than a year. 

 

I hope there is some solution to this.

I also wanted to add that my fitbit no longer vibrates when I reach 10,000 steps, or as a reminder to move. 

 

I have checked all the settings and have vibrations set to strong but still nothing.
