I just purchased the FitBit Charger 3 and it only lights up or works when it's charging on a power outlet . It's been charging for about 2 hours and still has this problem .How long is the recomended time for charging ?

Tried clean contacts, restarting unit, holding in side button and everything listed in these community forum responses but can’t get charge beyond 32% and then it may quickly drop to 0.

My Fitbit Charge 3 suddenly refused to recharge. I tried all the solutions listed here and even bought a new charging cable. No luck. It's stuck at 6%.

I gave up on trying to get the unit to charge and it was still under warranty so I returned it to Costco and reordered the same unit which is working great.

Just received new charg 3 in mail.  It's been on charger for 3 hours.  Smile face comes on when I connect it and it vibrates so I know I have it connected properly.  I'm not going to clean it like recommended because this is brand new.  I want a refund because judging by this post it appears to be a common problem.  Lame!

Thank you so much!  What an easy fix.  I've always struggled getting it charged, but it wouldn't, no matter what this time.  All I did was open the "clips" more fully and it immediately started charging.  I think that I've made that same mistake every time I had an issue.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!
